This is one of our founders go-to recipes to strengthen and promote healthy hair. Weaving in an herbalism technique called a "cold infusion" where room temperature water is used instead of hot water and steeped for a longer period of time. This process extracts the medicinal properties of the plants making the herbal tea stronger and more effective at yielding results.
Ingredients
1 oz dried loose leaf nettles
1 tablespoon dried loose leaf horsetail
1 tablespoon dried loose leaf sage
In a quart/ liter glass jar crush the sage using a mortar and pestle or use your hands and add it along with the nettles and horsetail. Boil filtered water and fill jar. Cover and infuse for at least 4 hours. Strain before drinking. Drink at room temp. Add organic raw honey for sweetness.
