Ayurvedic Vata Latte

This Ayurvedic latte blends Ashwagandha and Shatavari — two powerful adaptogens used for centuries to support the nervous system, balance hormones, and ground Vata energy. Creamy, calming, and deeply restorative… the perfect moment of pause for the person who’s always on the move. 

Serves: 1 | Time: 5–7 minutes
Best enjoyed: In the evening or during moments of rest

Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened plant-based milk (almond, oat, or coconut work beautifully)
½ tsp Ashwagandha powder
½ tsp Shatavari powder
¼ tsp ground cinnamon (optional, warming & aromatic)
⅛ tsp ground cardamom (optional, aids digestion)
1 tsp coconut butter or ghee (optional, deeply nourishing)
1–2 tsp maple syrup or raw honey (add after heating, if using honey)
A pinch of black pepper (enhances absorption)

Instructions:
1. In a small saucepan, gently warm the plant-based milk over low heat. Do not boil.
2. Whisk in ashwagandha, shatavari, and any optional spices. Stir well to dissolve.
3. Add coconut butter or ghee if using, and continue to stir until fully blended and creamy.
4. Remove from heat. Add maple syrup (or honey once slightly cooled).
5. Pour into your favorite mug and sip slowly, allowing the herbs to ground your energy and soothe your spirit.
