Vata Anxie(Tea) Recipe

These herbs help reduce stress and anxiety. Soothes the nerves and grounds your energy. 

 

Makes 6 cups

 

Ingredients

4 cups water

3 cups organic, raw H2 milk or your favorite non-dairy alternative milk

5 tablespoons Tulsi

3 tablespoons Ashwagandha

1 teaspoon whole Pippali

1/4 tsp whole Ajwain

3 cinnamon sticks

7 Saffron threads

2 tablespoons honey

 

Instructions

  1. In a medium sauce pan, add milk and water, bring to boil.
  2. Reduce heat. Add all the herbs to the liquid. Steep and simmer on low covered for 30 mins. 
  3. Turn off heat. Strain and stir in honey. 
  4. Drink 1 cup each evening after dinner as needed.
  5. Can be refrigerated for up to 5 days.
